Meet our Pastoral Staff at Fellowship Baptist Church
Pastor Jono Millar
Pastor Jono Millar became a Christian at the age of 19 after God providing many opportunities over some months to hear the gospel through many different means. At that point in time he was studying towards a Science degree majoring in Biology at Waikato University. Jono completed the degree and then, following God’s leading, began training for a full time ministry role through the local church Bible Institute at Fellowship Baptist Church. After five years of training, the previous Pastor, Garth Piper, moved on to Rotorua Bible Baptist Church and the church officially voted Jono in as Pastor.
Pastor Jono is married to his teenage sweetheart Christi and has four wonderful children.
Limuel Daisa
Pastor's Assistant
Limuel Daisa grew up in a Christian home with parents who faithfully served in their local church. Limuel was immersed in church activities; participating in junior church and singing in kids choir. It was not until the age of twelve when he finally came to accept the wonderful gift of salvation at a Young Men’s Retreat. He was baptized and became a member of Fellowship Baptist Church, serving in different areas of the church body. In 2016 Limuel did a year of the New Zealand Bible Baptist Institute Program, travelling to different churches across the country while learning different topics about the Bible.
Limuel is currently working for Pastor Jono as the assistant.
